Shipping, Returns and Warranty Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to shipping, delivery, inspection, returns, exchanges, credits, damaged goods, and manufacturer warranty support for products supplied by Amped Direct.

2. Shipping Model and Split Shipments

Amped Direct may fulfill orders through multiple suppliers, warehouses, or manufacturer-direct programs. Accordingly, a single order may ship in more than one carton, from more than one location, on more than one date, and through more than one carrier.

Estimated lead times are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Rural, remote, oversized, dangerous goods, liftgate, and inside-delivery requests may require additional time and charges.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring the shipping address, contact details, access instructions, and receiving conditions are accurate and complete.

3. Freight and Delivery Charges

Freight is charged as quoted, invoiced, or otherwise communicated by Amped Direct. Additional freight, accessorial, redelivery, storage, remote area, liftgate, appointment, or carrier adjustment charges may apply if actual shipping conditions differ from the original assumptions.

4. Inspection on Receipt

The Customer must inspect goods promptly upon receipt and notify Amped Direct as soon as reasonably possible of shipping damage, shortages, incorrect items, missing cartons, or visible defects.

Visible delivery damage or shortages should be noted on the delivery record where possible and reported within two business days of receipt.

Concealed damage or non-conformity should be reported within five business days of discovery.

Photographs of packaging, labels, and damaged goods should be preserved to support carrier or supplier claims.

5. Return Authorization Requirement

No goods may be returned without prior written authorization from Amped Direct. Any approved return must follow the authorization instructions exactly, including packaging requirements, return location, carrier, deadline, and reference number.

6. Return Conditions

Returned goods must generally be new, unused, uninstalled, clean, complete, and in original packaging suitable for resale.

Electrical items, safety products, cut goods, custom or configured items, special-order products, clearance items, perishable items, hazardous materials, and manufacturer-designated non-returnables may not be eligible for return.

Returned goods that are damaged, incomplete, improperly packaged, outside the return window, or otherwise unsaleable may be refused or credited at a reduced amount.

7. Restocking, Freight, and Credit Deductions

Approved returns may be subject to supplier restocking fees, outbound freight, return freight, inspection/handling charges, and other non-recoverable costs. Any credit is contingent on final acceptance by Amped Direct and, where applicable, the supplier or manufacturer.

8. Wrong Item or Amped Direct Error

If Amped Direct confirms that the Customer received the wrong product due to Amped Direct’s error, Amped Direct will work with the Customer to arrange return, replacement, correction, or credit on commercially reasonable terms.

9. Exchanges

Exchanges are treated as a return plus a new order unless Amped Direct expressly agrees otherwise. Replacement stock and pricing are subject to current availability and current pricing unless Amped Direct confirms otherwise in writing.

10. Warranty Framework

Products are supplied subject only to the manufacturer’s written warranty, if any, and any mandatory statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Amped Direct does not provide any independent warranty unless it expressly does so in writing.

Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, photographs, serial numbers, troubleshooting details, inspection, and compliance with manufacturer procedures.

Amped Direct may assist with the claim process, but the manufacturer’s determination controls where a manufacturer warranty applies.

Labour, downtime, rental equipment, loss of production, and project delay costs are not covered unless the applicable manufacturer expressly covers them in writing and pays them.

11. Exclusions

Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper storage, improper installation, abuse, accident, neglect, unauthorized modification, improper electrical supply, lack of maintenance, and use outside manufacturer specifications are excluded.

Damage occurring after delivery because of the Customer’s handling, storage, site conditions, or installation methods is excluded.

12. No Consequential Loss Recovery

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amped Direct is not liable under this policy for indirect or consequential losses, including lost time, project delay, lost profits, rental costs, or third-party claims.
